Compassionate, Collaborative Therapy

Our minds have the capacity for so much complexity, but we sometimes get stuck in rigid ways of being. We get stuck in habits that no longer serve us.

Feeling constantly unhappy, constantly stressed, constantly on edge can be exhausting. Relationships with continued tension and conflict can leave you hopeless. Taking the time and energy to commit to therapy is an important step forward.

Whether you’ve been to therapy before, or this is your first time, it’s ok to be nervous or cautious. It’s also ok to be ready to jump right in! Our first sessions are for me to learn about you, the problems you’re dealing with, and your life in general. It is also a time for you to get comfortable with me and the therapy process and bring up your questions and concerns.

We might explore some essential questions about how you want to live your life and I may challenge you to consider new and different perspectives. Together we will explore the internal and external patterns that are keeping you stuck and help you move toward healing and growth. Slowing down and acknowledging the disappointment, sadness, and guilt can feel scary. Therapy is the place to face those unpleasant or unbearable feelings with compassionate support. It’s a collaborative endeavor.

You deserve to be seen, heard, and understood and with clarity we can work towards figuring out what you need, what works for you, and how to get there. In our work together, you can learn to accept yourself and others, build resilience, and feel more secure as you navigate the challenges of relationships and life.

I am here to guide you through the hard stuff and support you on your journey to live more authentically.
